Summer in the City

The sweltering heat, smoggy air and Conrad Black's guilty verdict don't seem to bother these inner city kids enjoying a break at camp in a downtown Toronto park. Ahhh, to be a kid at play again!

They look like they went as a group since they have the same color shirts on. I agree, to be a kid again would be great.

Kids seem immortal and immune to everything except play. They are, for the most part, addicted to play and never get tired of it. Then at some point in their lives they realize they are not alone and if all kids are like my five, they begin to show an interest in the opposite sex and really do some dumb things.

I liked your post today. It was a reminder of our kids and those days when they played on swing sets in the parks.
