Young and Eligible

The Toronto intersection of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue has been given the moniker "Young and Eligible" because of the abundance of office towers, high-rise condos housing mostly singles and the club scene that beckons them after hours. Here are some of the local suspects during the rush hour maddness.

Wow, look at that! I think that some of those buildings weren't there nine years ago (when we left our beloved T.O. - hopefully we'll go back soon, for good).

Back then Young and Eglinton wasn't such a hot spot, but it's always been such a neat neighbourhood.

Cheers from Boston.

You'd find a lot of things changed if you haven't been in Toronto for 9 years. It's even more multi-ethnic and arts oriented a city. Yonge & Eglinton is my home (but don't include me in the Young & Eligible crowd... I'm a family gal after all)
