I've noticed quite a few of these "guerrilla" spray can attacks on public utility covers and backs of signage around town. The two examples shown in the photographs have been there for quite some time, so maybe the powers that be have decided to look the other way and let people enjoy them. They really do disguise some urban ugliness that you see everywhere.

I don't like graffitis in general but these are adorable, esp. the sumo wrestlers. They did a great job.
