Flags

This photo was taken outside of Toronto's Old City Hall, which happens to be right across the street from Toronto's New City Hall. The building now houses the Ontario provincial courts. The flags in the picture represent the 10 provinces and 2 territories that make up Canada. I liked the look of the strong primary colours against the monochromatic background.

Great photo!

(And to think that my grandfather used to clean the windows on this building away back in the 1930's as well as the windows on the Royal York Hotel and the old Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce building (that used to be one of the highest buildings in the British Commonwealth now dwarfed) )
